Struck by how similar the sport of professional cycling is to professional car racing, yet how really different it is in other ways. Getting the full treatment from Cobbled Classic Tours, he joined with the Quickstep team at DePanne and Paris-Roubaix and others from CSC for Tour of Flanders. There was alot to see of the ins and out of professional cycling. And alot of miles to ride on the bike in Belgium, the land of Cycling!! Tom Boonen and Randy chat at the hotel after Stage Three of the Three Days of DePanne. The Quickstep rider and team had a stellar week of racing with DeVolder winning the Tour of Flanders, Weyland third at Gent-Wevelgem, and Boonen winning the next weekend on the terrible cobbles of Paris-Roubaix. An Astana rider glides out of the starthouse at the Time Trial Stage of the Three Days of DePanne as the huge crowd watches under beautifully clear skies.
